About Darin

For as long as I can remember, I've been the person people come to when they need to talk something through — the friend who listens first and gives advice that actually fits, not the generic kind.

That instinct followed me through 20 years climbing the corporate ladder in IT. Somewhere in there, I realized the part of the job I cared about most wasn't the technical work — it was the people. So I made the leap and became a certified life coach through Rhodes College.

It was during that training, and my own parallel journey of self-discovery, that I found out I'm AUDHD — something I'd spent my entire life successfully masking without ever having the words for it. That discovery changed the direction of my practice. Now, a large part of my work is focused on neurodivergent adults: the ones navigating careers, leadership, relationships, and life transitions while carrying the exhausting weight of masking — because I know that weight firsthand.

I don't offer generic frameworks. I offer coaching built on lived experience and real listening, for people who are ready to stop performing and start living as themselves.

When I'm not coaching, I share honest, no-fluff takes on neurodivergence and leadership on TikTok @darininthenorth and Instagram @pulse_north — come say hi.
