What Is Life Coaching, Really?
Life coaching isn't therapy, and it isn't consulting — it sits in its own space. Therapy often works to understand and heal the past. Consulting hands you an expert's answer. Life coaching starts from a different question: given where you are right now, what do you actually want next, and what's in the way of getting there?
A coach isn't there to diagnose you or hand you a script. The work is collaborative — asking the right questions, holding you accountable, and helping you see patterns you're too close to notice on your own. Sessions are structured but not rigid: some weeks are about untangling a specific decision, others are about building a habit, and some are just about finally saying the thing out loud that's been stuck in your head.
My approach adds one more layer to that: I coach through a neurodivergent lens, because that's the lens I live through myself. If you've spent years masking, overriding your own instincts to "fit in," or wondering why standard advice never quite works for your brain, that's exactly the terrain I work in. We're not aiming for a generic version of "success" — we're building something that actually fits how you think, work, and live.
If that sounds like what you're looking for, the best next step is a conversation, not a commitment. A free 15-minute discovery call is the easiest way to find out if we're a fit.
